Markus was born and raised in Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1986. He has been actively involved in the dental field for the past 20 years and began his career as a dental technician in 1993. He worked in a commercial dental lab as well as an in-house lab technician for several orthodontists.
In 1999 he accepted a part-time position as an instructor in the dental technology program at Vancouver Community College and in 2002 he became once again a full time student at VCC to become a denturist.
Markus retained his position at Vancouver Community College until recently where he worked as a clinical instructor in the denturist program. He is uniquely qualified to be registered both as a denturist as well as a dental technician, RD and RDT, and in 2012 he completed the Provincial Instructor Diploma.

This additional training allows him to advance and hone his knowledge and practical skills in order to give you the best possible denture care.
Markus is very active in the community. He resides with his wife and seven children in Mission and you may meet him and his family at various community and school events. Markus is a member of the Mission Rotary Club and he regularly presents at various wellness events supporting his community. Make sure to say hi if you run into Markus at 6am at the Leisure Centre during an AquaFit class.

Registered Dental Technician
Darryl graduated from Vancouver Community College’s Dental Technician program in 2001. In 2002, he became licensed as a Registered Dental Technician. Always challenging himself, Darryl has worked part-time as an instructor at VCC in the dental technology field since 2012. He enjoys sharing his experiences and practical knowledge with future Dental Technicians. Through teaching, Darryl learns more each day.
Darryl is a perfectionist. He is dedicated to providing excellent care for clients, and working with his exceptional team at Fischer Denture Clinic. He is passionate and proud to fabricate fine quality prosthesis for our clients. Darryl finds it rewarding to help build beautiful smiles to complement and enhance people’s lives.

Cheri graduated in 1991 from the dental reception program at UFV. Since then she has gained over 12 years of knowledge and experience in the dental profession. She also acquired another 5 years of experience in the medical field working for a general practitioner’s office and for an orthotic & prosthesis (bracing and artificial limb) company. During her 12 years in the dental field her positions have been receptionist, manager, marketer and consultant. In the past she has also been scheduled to teach an evening course at UFV on customer service in dental offices.
She has a very friendly and outgoing personality and enjoys building patient relationships. Cheri is always willing to take the time to listen to your concerns with care & compassion. Her many years of experience within the dental industry and with dental insurances helps aid her in getting your treatment plans approved promptly. Once this information is received she will break down what will be covered by the plan and what the patient portion will be so you are aware of your financial commitment before any treatment starts.
